Daniël Lohues and JB Meijers win Musical Award

Pennies From Heaven writers Daniël Lohues and JB Meijers, together with Ilse DeLange, received the Musical Award for Best Music and Arrangements for their contribution to ‘De Tweeling’.

Together they are responsible for the music and lyrics of the musical based on the international bestseller by Tessa de Loo.

‘De Tweeling’ tells the touching story of twin sisters Lotte and Anna who were separated at a young age and grew up in two totally different worlds; Anna in Germany and Lotte in The Netherlands.

The Musical Awards Gala was broadcasted live on NPO 1 Wednesday evening and viewed by 1,3 million people.
